Include your company name, contact info and title. Identify your target audience, whether you want proofreading or editing, your deadline, the software you use and desired method of returning the final product to you. Tip: this is our first look at your writing capability!
  • We'll E-mail you a price quote for preliminary approval.
  • Send your document as an E-mail attachment.
  • You'll receive a final price quote.
  • Projects of 20+ pages require a simple agreement and 33% initial payment, with two remaining incremental payments. Projects less than 20 pages require 50% initial payment and 50% at completion.
  • Your project is assigned to an editor.
  • Completion means the work was reviewed by two editors.
  • Delivery to you is by E-mail attachment; other methods cost more.

COMPLETE REWRITE

At your instruction we will rewrite or copy-edit your document. A complete rewrite is an intense process that improves language and organization. It requires editorial, even creative, judgment -- unlike a proofread or copy-edit. Rewrite includes all proofreading and copy edit tasks. We retain your style unless directed otherwise.

A complete rewrite will:

• Correct word usage errors such as redundancy, passive voice, wordiness and diction 

• Edit paragraphs and sentences, organization, length, clarity, transitions, grammar and syntax

• Check logic, unity, structure, transitions and summaries

• Monitor style: appropriateness of tone and voice and level of language to audience

• Verify that headings reflect text that follows

• Check headings for placement and quantity

• Query you for clarity as needed

• Check math, numbers, problems and answers to questions

• Check descriptions and information in tables and figures

• Follow your specific requests such as editing text written by foreign language writers
